AWANA

Vacation Bible School

TruthQuest

Students who have completed grades 4-6 will have a new option during third service beginning in July. Following an intermission that runs from 10:45-11:10 am in room B12, students will have the opportunity to participate in TruthQuest. Music, a Bible lesson, a little bit of competition...Truth or Consequences? will challenge you to live God's truth.

Ministry to Elementary Students

A vital outreach to elementary students takes place throughout the year through Sunday School, Awana and Summer Day Camp.

With a goal of helping children reach their fullest potential in Christ, our Sunday School prepares children for responsible service to Jesus Christ in the church, community and the world. Throughout the process of advancing from kindergarten through sixth grade, students get an overview of the entire Bible with a strong emphasis on applying the truths in every sphere of daily living. They are challenged to think biblically and to develop critical thinking skills, as well as to embrace The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

The learning levels are as follows:

Level One

Discovering Bible Times

Experience the world of ancient families and communities

Level Two

Treasuring the Bible

Explore the Bible and make it a trusted companion

Level Three

Serving the King

Walk alongside Jesus through every event in the Gospels

Level Four

Transforming the World

Imitate 1 st century Christians who revolutionized the world

Level Five

Following the Faithful

Journey through the entire Bible and 2000 years of Christian history

Level Six

Walking with God

Develop essential disciplines to sustain spiritual growth

Parents are encouraged to “Take 10”–Take ten minutes each day, five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the evening, to help their children develop two spiritual disciplines, reading the Bible and reciting Bible verses.

Our Awana youth ministry has as its goal to “reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ and to train them to serve Him.” Through its program that meets from 6:30-8:00PM on Wednesday nights, September through May, children age 3 by September 1st through grade 6, enjoy game time, handbook time, and council time.  To learn more about Awana, please click here.

Our summer outreach, Vacation Bible School, will encourage children to run with Joshua, pursuing wholehearted obedience to God!  To learn more about VBS or to get the registration form, please click here.
