Dear
Friends,
If you were asked
to describe the Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church, what words would
you choose? Let me share with you a sampling of my thoughts. We
are ...
... A CARING
CHURCH: Where Christ's love is shared with people of all ages and
races. A fellowship committed not only to shaking people's hands,
but where possible, healing their hurts.
... A TEACHING
CHURCH: Built upon the foundation of the Bible. Committed to the
utter trustworthiness of the Scriptures. A fellowship in which
God's Word is communicated clearly, accurately, and practically.
... A WORSHIPPING
CHURCH: Worship that is reverent without being cold, relaxed without
being casual, relevant without being shallow. A church which exalts
Jesus Christ.
... A PRAYING
CHURCH: As people approach God they do so with adoration, confession,
and thankfulness for God's grace. Individuals who are committed
to praying for needs both near and afar.
... AN EVANGELISTIC
CHURCH: Where God's plan of salvation is communicated in a clear
manner. A gathering that has experienced God's grace and now expresses
it in a winsome manner to those who need to know Christ personally.
This is the church
in these pages. I count it a privilege to be part of such a church.
Yours
in Christ,
Gary
