Missions
Missionary families and individuals, in foreign countries and the United
States, are supported by our local church. We believe that prayer and
encouragement are as important as financial support. Therefore, our
focus is kept on missions in several ways:
- Missions Board
This group of lay members maintains communication with all our missionaries
and their offices...reporting to our congregation via slides, letters
and announcements. An annual all-church Missions Conference is usually
scheduled in the early Spring.
Special prayer requests are shared during Wednesday night Bible study
and prayer time and Sunday evening prayer time.
- Visits From Missionaries
Missionaries home on furlough are encouraged to bring welcome news
of their work in reaching the lost for Christ.
