Connect People
We are a ministry that connects people using various forms of communication.
The term TechMedia refers to those various forms of technical media (using the computer,
video tapes, sound, etc.
Using
our Talents and Gifts
We believe Jesus is the head of our church body and of our team. We
believe He will provide people that have all the different talents
and gifts (technical and otherwise) we need to serve Him wholly.
In a God-Honoring
Manner
We strive to present ourselves and our messages in the most professional
means possible.
What
does the TechMedia Team do?
We have a variety of specific responsibilities that help us carry out
our mission described above. Some roles have direct contact with our
client ministries, while others serve to support our own team and technology.

What
else do we do?
We spend “relaxed” time together
We meet one evening every other month, with our spouses, at Perkins
for some coffee, desert or dinner, depending on your day. The specific
day of week/month varies each month so that ultimately, everybody
can attend at least occasionally.
We plan
together
In the in-between-Perkins months, we meet at a home and have Pizza
(or something similar) and then discuss some component of the ministry
that we need to work on as a team. We really believe in the value of
a TEAM – where the thoughts and input of several are far greater
than just one.
We recruit
new team members
In the past several years, we have hosted an Open House where interested
people can come and find out more about our team. We make ourselves
available to answer questions about anything related to the team and
we show all the tools and techniques we use. In the future we expect
to find different avenues to reach different types of people that God
would send to be a part of our team.
We search
out what others are doing
While we haven’t done this as a team yet, we hope to visit churches
that are far beyond us in their use of technical media in hopes to bring
new ideas back to our own team.
